When Can You Do the Job/Get Me on the Schedule?

Scheduling will reach out once the homeowner approves the estimate. We do our best to get customers scheduled in a timely fashion. We are usually booking our services 2-3 weeks out. We also offer emergency tree services for more pressing issues.


Do I Have to Be Home on the Day Job Is Scheduled at My Property? 

Please don't feel pressured to be home on the day of the scheduled job. We understand completely that our customers are busy with work and everyday life. Once you can review the completed job and are fully satisfied, you can submit payment at your earliest convenience.


Do You Carry Insurance for the Company?

Our company is fully licensed and insured, additionally we are compliant with the state of Delaware regulations and carry workers compensation coverage for all employees. We are happy to provide a copy of our policy per homeowners request.


Do You Provide Free Estimates for Tree Services?

Yes, it’s our pleasure to have an estimator come to your property and review all your needs. This is a great opportunity to get our professional recommendations on items you may be unsure of and review any potential future work you may have questions about. 


What Types of Payment Are Accepted?

We offer three options of payment:

  • Credit/Debit card (through an electronic invoice)
  • Check payment
  • Cash 

When Should You Cut Down a Tree?

The moment you feel it is a potential risk. Diseases, structural instability, or extensive damage can all indicate that your tree is a danger to you and your home. You may also have to cut it down if it's obstructing essential construction or utility work. Additionally, trees that have died or are beyond saving may need to be removed to prevent potential hazards. We'd be happy to talk with you to help determine if you need tree removal.


How Much Can You Remove From a Tree?

There is no general amount you can safely remove from a tree as it varies significantly from tree to tree. However, a common practice is removing only 25% of a tree's foliage in a year. Removing too many branches or leaves at once can stress the tree and compromise its health. Not to mention, it can hurt the overall look of the tree. Our team takes great pride in precision tree trimming, so you should know that we'll only remove the right amount on every job.


Is It Better to Grind a Stump or Leave It?

This depends on many factors like aesthetics, safety, space utilization, pest prevention, and budget. Stump grinding enhances visual appeal, removes tripping hazards, and prevents pest issues, while leaving a stump can be cost-effective and offer a natural look or wildlife habitat. It comes down to what you want to do.


How Do You Get Rid of Insects in Trees?

What Are Common Tree Pests?

Bagworms and tent caterpillars are two common tree pests native to Delaware. The spotted lanternfly is also a problem. Native to China, these pests have become an invasive species in the United States and are a danger to our ecosystem.


Will Broken Branches Kill a Tree?

Branches break. It is a common thing that happens. They do not, however, typically kill a tree. What they can be is an indicator of what is killing the tree. Contact our team today if you're worried that a broken branch is a sign of a dying tree.


Can My Tree Be Saved After A Storm?

It depends on the amount of damage done to the tree for us to determine if it can be saved. We hope to save your tree, but if we can't, our tree removal services are reliable and cost-effective. We can even turn your tree into mulch or firewood.
